Sowing Seeds of Hope: How CRESS Africa is Transforming Lives Through Agriculture!
Today, the entire CRESS Africa Foundation family celebrates a remarkable milestone—the graduation of Jokudu Josephine Aba with a Diploma in Agribusiness from Nile University, Arua!
Her journey is one of hope, resilience, and transformation—a true testament to what faith, hard work, and community support can achieve.
Here is Josephine’s powerful reflection on her journey:
"As I look back, I see a little girl from Liwolo, Kajo-Keji County, in 2011, filled with uncertainty and unanswered dreams. Today, I stand as a proud graduate of 2025, holding a Diploma in Agribusiness—a dream I once thought was beyond my reach.
When I had no voice, no direction, and no financial means, CRESS believed in me. CRESS saw potential in me long before I could see it in myself. From primary school through the trials of secondary education and now through college, your support remained steadfast.
Today, I am more than just a graduate—I am a woman of purpose, confidence, and vision. This diploma is more than a certificate; it symbolizes hope, resilience, and the transformative power of opportunity.
I carry this achievement on behalf of every girl in the refugee settlement who dreams of a better future. With my new skills, I am determined to contribute to my community, promoting food security, driving development, and inspiring others to believe in the power of education.
From the depths of my heart—thank you, CRESS Africa Foundation, CRESS UK, and my lovely sponsors for lighting my path and changing my story forever."
Congratulations Josephine!
Your story is proof that with love, support, and determination, even the most challenging beginnings can lead to a future filled with promise.
