Safeguarding children is not just a policy requirement — it is a responsibility that demands commitment, awareness, and action from every organization working with children and vulnerable communities.

From Savings to Sustainable Livelihoods: The Story of Asina Adiru
Over the past week (11th–15th May 2026), our Discipleship Team, together with dedicated volunteer children’s workers, had the privilege of conducting 21 Five-Day Clubs across Imvepi and Rhino Camp Refugee Settlements in Uganda — 13 clubs in Imvepi and 8 clubs in Rhino Camp.
These outreach activities were organized with one mission: to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children, nurture their faith, and inspire hope for their future. Through Bible lessons, active games, worship songs, prayer, memory verses, and discipleship sessions, thousands of children experienced the love of Christ in practical and meaningful ways.
The impact has been deeply encouraging:
3,465 children reached with the Gospel
1,112 children gave their lives to Jesus Christ
742 children expressed a desire to become future missionaries and support God’s mission work
6 new Good News Clubs established for continuous discipleship and weekly Bible teaching
Beyond the numbers, we witnessed transformed lives, renewed hope, growing faith, and children developing positive values of love, respect, unity, and purpose. Many children were eager to continue learning about God and growing spiritually even after the clubs ended.
We are also grateful for the commitment and sacrifice of our volunteer children’s workers who faithfully served despite challenges such as long walking distances, poor road networks, limited playing materials, weather interruptions, and overcrowded clubs. Their passion for ministry continues to inspire us.
The communities and local leaders strongly recommended that Five-Day Clubs continue every school holiday because of the visible spiritual and moral impact on children.
As we move forward, we remain committed to:
• Strengthening discipleship among children
• Equipping volunteer children’s workers through refresher trainings
• Expanding Good News Clubs in refugee communities
• Providing safer and more engaging learning environments for children
Every child reached with the Gospel is a life touched with hope. We thank God for the opportunity to serve children in refugee settlements and for every partner, volunteer, and supporter making this ministry possible.
