CRESS Africa Foundation believes that strong families are built on clear vision, planning, discipline, and unity

SUCCESS STORY: From Grief to Growth – Joyce Dousa’s Journey to Self-Reliance.

At CRESS Africa Foundation, we believe that education is the most powerful tool for transforming lives—and today, we proudly celebrate a remarkable milestone.
In 2025, we supported and registered seven students to sit for the UCE examinations. Throughout their journey, we walked closely with them, providing holistic support including school fees, candidate registration, coaching, mentorship, and exposure through school tours. Our goal was simple: to give them every opportunity to succeed and unlock their full potential.
By God’s grace, all seven candidates excelled and attained Result One, qualifying for their certificates. This achievement is a powerful testimony of resilience, hard work, and determination in the face of challenges. It also reflects the impact of consistent mentorship and community support.
We are especially proud of our top-performing students:
Juan Susan Nelson from Budo Secondary School, Wakiso, who scored 1 A, 8 Bs, and 1 C. Juan dreams of pursuing Physics, Economics, and Mathematics at A-Level and becoming a software engineer. She is passionate about using technology to solve real-life challenges in her community.
Milyan Emmanuel Edward from Usindi Secondary School, Arua, who achieved 10 Bs. He has secured admission to Mvara Secondary School, Arua, where he will study Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. His vision is to become a medical doctor and improve healthcare in underserved communities.
We thank God for this incredible success and extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our sponsors and partners. Your trust, generosity, and belief in our mission continue to open doors of opportunity for refugee and vulnerable children.
Together, we are not only educating young people—we are shaping future leaders, innovators, and change-makers.
Let us continue to invest in education and transform more lives.
