HOPE IN MOTION: A NEW CHAPTER FOR MAMA AGNES

School Visit Update – June 2025
Meet Nancy Tiyangu, a dedicated third-year medical student pursuing a Diploma in Registered Midwifery at Kajo-Keji Health Training Institute, Arua. With the support of CRESS Africation Foundation and a generous donation from Open Ears Trust, Nancy received hearing aids that have truly transformed her life — both academically and personally.
Before the support, Nancy faced significant challenges following lectures and engaging in group discussions. Despite her best efforts, hearing loss left her feeling anxious and isolated. But today, things have changed.
“I no longer struggle to follow lectures or participate in discussions. I feel confident, connected, and my class performance has improved. I’m now fully engaged with my peers, family, and the world around me,” Nancy shares with heartfelt gratitude.
Nancy’s dream doesn’t stop here — she plans to pursue higher education and dedicate her life to supporting women through childbirth and postpartum care.
We are incredibly proud to stand behind young women like Nancy who, despite challenges, rise and shine with determination and grace.
Thank you to Open Ears Trust for your life-changing gift and commitment to improving hearing health.
Together, we’re not just giving support — we’re opening doors to brighter futures.
