Kuga’s Journey to Self-Reliance through Graphics and Design

Sunday Worship at Mijunyona Church in Imvepi Refugee Camp was a powerful and uplifting time in God’s presence.
From 22-23 July 2025, CRESS Africa Foundation (CAF) hosted its 2025 Midyear Reflection Meetings—a transformative two-day gathering dedicated to deep reflection, celebration, and strategic recommitment to our mission of empowering refugee and host communities.
This year’s theme, “Rooted in Purpose, United in Impact,” inspired us to revisit our spiritual and organizational foundations, evaluate our progress, and reignite our collective vision. Guided by Galatians 6:9, we were reminded to persevere in doing good—knowing that lasting impact takes time, unity, and unwavering purpose.
Key Objectives Included:
• Reaffirming CAF’s vision, mission, and core values
• Reflecting on programmatic impact across Livelihood, Health, Education, and Discipleship
• Strengthening alignment between personal calling and organizational purpose
• Reviewing the 2024 Annual Report and first-half 2025 performance
• Creating space for healing, encouragement, and spiritual renewal
Program Highlights:
• Visionary leadership talks and thematic sessions on trauma healing, stewardship, and resilience
• Daily devotions and departmental reflections
• A virtual session with Caroline Lamb and CRESS UK
• Worship led by Bishop Amos Data, fostering spiritual nourishment
• Team-building activities and collaborative brainstorming
• Shared meals, prayer, and intentional fellowship
A total of 45 participants—including 26 staff, 19 volunteers, and key stakeholders—joined the sessions with open hearts and a unified commitment to transformative service.
This gathering was more than a review—it was a celebration of our journey so far, and a bold recommitment to the work ahead.
Together, we are transforming lives—one family, one community at a time.
