From a struggling little girl in 2011 to University Graduate: Jokudu Josephine Aba’s Inspiring Journey
In the heart of our modest CRESS Africa Foundation office, something small but mighty has been growing — not just ideas and impact, but tomatoes!
What began as a few tomato seedlings planted in raised garden behind the office has blossomed into a vibrant little patch of life. With care, teamwork, and just the right dose of compost and hope, our mini office garden has produced its first harvest of juicy, red tomatoes — fresh, firm, and full of flavor!
Staff celebrated the harvest, sharing laughs, taking photos, and even debating who would get the biggest tomato! This simple garden not only beautifies our space but also showcases what self-reliance looks like — a reminder that even with limited land, communities can grow nutritious food and inspire change.
At CRESS Africa, we believe big transformations begin with small seeds — and our tomato garden is just one shining example.
