Education
The Children Education Sponsorship Project: This project is a cornerstone of our educational initiatives, offering comprehensive support to children across various educational levels, including nursery, primary, secondary, tertiary, and vocational training. The primary goal of this project is to enhance access to inclusive, equitable, and quality education, thereby improving the academic performance and overall well-being of the children we serve. Through this program, we aim to;
- Increase access to quality pre-primary, primary, secondary, technical, vocational, and tertiary education, including university education.
- Equipping youth and adults with relevant technical and vocational skills necessary for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.
- Provide holistic academic support that addresses the spiritual, psychosocial, moral, and medical needs of sponsored children.
Beneficiaries: From its inception, the project was designed to benefit the children of pastors and later expanded to include the children of our staff. Over the years, we have sponsored over 100 children across various educational levels, including college, university, primary, and secondary education. Of these sponsored students, 22 have successfully graduated and entered the workforce, significantly impacting their families and communities. Currently, 72 children are enrolled in our sponsorship program, with 26 in nursery and primary education, 31 in secondary education, and 12 in college and university education. Additionally, three students are set to join college or university in August.
Partnerships: Our success in this initiative is greatly attributed to our partnerships with local schools in the West Nile and Central regions of Uganda, parents, and CRESS UK. These collaborations have been crucial in providing the necessary resources and support to ensure the delivery of quality education and comprehensive support to our beneficiaries.
