5-day residential Children’s Accelerated Trauma Technique (CATT) Level 2 Training in Arua City for 23 community-based counsellors and frontline child protection actors drawn from Imvepi Refugee Settlement, Rhino Camp Refugee Settlement, and Kerwa Sub-county in Yumbe District.

At Kilaji Primary School in Mijale, 30 dedicated members are proving that small, consistent efforts can create lasting transformation.
CRESS Africa Foundation, through its self reliance and resilient program witnessed another meaningful step toward inclusion, resilience, and sustainable livelihoods as 65 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across our project locations (Rhino Camp settlement - Ocea & Eden zones, Imvepi refugee settlement and Kerwa/Wandi host community received fruit tree seedlings and essential support materials to strengthen household nutrition and income generation.
Each participant was supported with grafted mango, orange, soursop, and avocado seedlings, alongside a watering can to ensure proper care and growth of the trees.
This initiative goes beyond tree planting. It is about restoring dignity, promoting self-reliance, improving environmental sustainability, and creating long-term economic opportunities for vulnerable households. As these trees grow, they will provide fruits for nutrition, income for families, and hope for a greener future.
We remain committed to empowering communities through inclusive and climate-smart livelihood interventions that leave no one behind.
